Overview:
Lifeway is seeking a Director, Inside Sales and Support who will be responsible for the successful execution of inbound and outbound sales strategies to meet revenue goals while efficiently handling customer support inquiries. The director will be a leader of leaders, a coach at heart, love to see others succeed, while maintaining a deep conviction that Lifeway resources can help church staff disciple their congregations.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional
travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote

Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Marketing, Publishing and other sales team to ensure the team has the resources it needs to be successful
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and inspiration to Inside Sales and Support Managers. Teach and train managers to identify growth areas and opportunities at the individual, team and department level
  • In partnership with the Inside Sales and Support Managers, develop and execute a business plan that maximizes efficiency and effectiveness of the team in order to meet and exceed sales quotas and expected services levels.
  • Develop, test and execute a sales enablement plan that ensure the team has the skills and resources to serve our customers in an effective and efficient manner so that we can become a trusted ministry partner.
  • Develop a plan to leverage technology and data to inform and support decision making. This will require a robust set of metrics with supporting reporting
  • Provide timely and accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts that are grounded in your understanding of the business and the data that supports it
  • Participate in key sales cycles and maintain excellent cross-functional relationships.
  • Participate as a key member of the Sales Leadership team
  • 10-15% travel, required
Qualifications:
Education Required
Bachelor's degree
MBA, preferred

Experience / Skills Required
  • Live out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
  • Minimum 5 years experience leading an inside sales organization that must include inbound and outbound experience
  • Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience selling value-based products and/or services
  • Advanced understanding of the Christian content market and its customers
  • Strong operational and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong grasp of key sales and support operations KPIs and strategies, such as AHT, call conversion, transfer rates, capacity, utilization, and force to load
Strongly Preferred Skills
  • Working with CRM, strong preference given to Salesforce
  • Developing IVR routing strategies
  • Utilizing call center technology such as Gong! And Stella Connect
