The Director, Regional Field Sales is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to maximize sales revenue within an assigned region. They recruit, coach, and develop sales representatives to drive growth and meet or exceed assigned quotas.
● Sales Leadership: Provides leadership, direction and support to a team of sales professionals. Sets individual and team performance goals.
● Team Development: Recruits strong sales talent. Coaches team members and develops skills. Inspires and motivates team. Proactively establishes a backfill pipeline of candidates.
● Performance Management: Tracks sales performance vs. goals. Provides feedback on areas for improvement and implements training initiatives. Works closely with the HR Partner.
● Sales Strategy: Collaborates on regional and national sales strategies and initiatives. Identifies opportunities to improve sales processes.
● Customer Relations: Interacts with key accounts within the region. Ensures customer satisfaction and retention, addressing any escalated issues.
● 5+ years sales management experience, including experience with recruitment and development
● 10+ total years of experience in sales
● Track record of success leading teams to meet/exceed sales targets
● Strong experience in sales performance management and coaching
● Excellent leadership, team building, and coaching skills
● Strong analytical abilities and data-driven approach to performance management
● Expert knowledge of sales techniques, CRM systems, and managing pipelines and accurate sales forecasts
● Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills
● Ability to adapt sales strategies based on industry trends and competitive forces
● Experience in legal tech/SaaS sales management
● Experience developing and executing sales training programs
