Whether it's streamlining in-store operations or delivering powerful solutions for business management, we aim to redefine what’s possible for merchants everywhere.About The RoleWe’re seeking an exceptional Design Director to lead and elevate the Merchant Experience Design at DoorDash. In this pivotal role, you’ll take ownership of the core merchant experience, leading the design of intuitive solutions that span in-store operations, back-office performance analytics, financial reconciliation, and issue resolution. As a strategic leader, you will work with cross-functional partners to drive the product strategy and deliver an intuitive and cohesive experience for our merchants. As a team leader, you’ll manage a team of talented product designers and build a world-class design culture everyone wants to be a part of.You'll report to the Head of Merchant Design. We expect this role to be hybrid, working 1-2 days weekly from one of our Design hubs -- San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City.You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…• Partner with cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to define the vision and strategy for our Merchant Experience products.• Actively practice and evangelize customer-centric thinking throughout the entire org.
