About The TeamOn the Merchant Strategy & Operations team, our mission is to have best-in-class restaurant selection for Consumers and build products and services for our Merchants to grow their businesses profitably on DoorDash. We work on problems ranging from acquiring and onboarding new merchants to building a positive experience and solving pain points for existing merchants, to growing their sales through new products and services.About The RoleAs a Senior Associate on DoorDash’s Merchant Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, you will drive impact by improving Merchant retention on the platform and improving their experience across several pain points. You will solve problems by digging into details, executing quickly in the face of ambiguity, and building strong cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution that shape the success of Merchants on our platform and the direction of DoorDash’s core business, with a focus on existing Merchant success, retention, and solving high pain and high-impact problems.On the Merchant team, you’ll get to the lowest level of detail by speaking to Merchants, partnering with our Support, Sales, and Product teams, and analyzing our data to develop hypotheses for new ways to achieve your goals. You’ll test these hypotheses in the market and refine your approach to develop best-in-world solutions.
