About The TeamThe Content and Social Marketing team is the always-on voice of DoorDash. From the consumer who is looking to discover the best of their neighborhood, to the merchant that is growing their business, and the Dasher who is earning income on their own terms, our goal is to form meaningful connections with these audiences where they are.About The RoleWe are seeking an energetic and highly engaged Associate Marketer to help maintain the DoorDash community on social media. You will work closely with an ambitious group of social media marketers to inspire and disrupt consumers' feed through tactics that keep the brand at the center of conversation. In this role, you will utilize clever captions and commentary to extend our highest visibility marketing efforts across multiple business priorities.You will report to the Head of Brand Social within the Marketing organization.You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…• Manage the DoorDash community social media planning and execution as a key driver in engagement on campaign go-to-market plans.• Partner with highly awarded internal and external media and creative agency partners to conceive and produce innovative and effective social media strategies and tactics.• Work with analytics teams to set and track social listening on the DoorDash brand to inform disruptive tactics• Drive a strategy that increases visibility and engagement on social through establishing the brand voiceWe’re Excited About You Because…• You are an expert in the world of community management, with 3+ years experience in social media roles for major brands. You understand the nuances of how popular social media platforms work — from their products and features, ad formats, to their unique user cultures. You stay current with channel best practices and take a curious and experimental approach to emerging platforms, features, and trends.• You have a track record of breakthrough community management experience, either agency- or client-side, for major consumer brands• You thrive in complex and fast-moving situations that are not bound to a set of rules• You can demonstrate with data what social media success looks like. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location.
