DuPont E&I, Semiconductor Technologies business, has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Product Quality Engineering (PQE) in the Chemical Mechanical Planarization Technology (CMPT) organization.
This role will have responsibility for the quality and improvement of the pad product lines manufactured in Newark location. In this strategic and high visibility role, you will interface with functional and business leaders across the CMPT organization to help set and execute the improvement strategies necessary for the next phase of business success.
This position will report to the CMPT Pad Product Engineering Leader.
Responsibilities:
Act as the technical product manager for the assigned product portfolio. This role would be the technical counterpart to the business managers in effective product portfolio management.
Assess non-conforming products. Work with various teams (manufacturing, applications engineering) to decide fit for use for the non-conforming material.
Analyze process and production data to identify product consistency improvement opportunities.
Initiate the improvement opportunities / drive for prioritization of the improvement opportunities with manufacturing.
Be the steward for change management for the assigned product portfolio. Work with change owners (manufacturing, supplier quality, etc) to assess the impact of proposed changes and drive towards risk mitigation.
Work with customer facing teams to communicate appropriately through technical whitepapers.
This includes close-work with manufacturing, raw material engineering, strategic material partners, business leadership, and product quality teams to ensure smooth implementation of change with minimal business or operational risks or impacts.
Work with the PCS (process control systems) program manager to drive SPC (Statistical process control) culture at the site.
Provide voice of customer to operations and help to maintain healthy SPC (Statistical Process Control) culture. Participate in routing SPC reviews and control plan / FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) updates.
Enable new product introductions with the highest technical quality by partnering with product development group on the stage gate methodology

6-sigma (green/black belt) project management.
Experience with polyurethane manufacturing / technology
Experience on JMP software (data analysis software).
Experience / Knowledge with multi-disciplinary engineering principles (mechanical, chemical, metrology, etc).
Experience in customer communication: ensuring both companies are aligned on the same goals and understandings.
Hands on experience with chemical / physical material analysis and characterization.
Culture of microelectronic /semiconductor processes (CMP more particularly, but wafer manufacturing in general and areas like lithography, Etch, Strip).
