The Regional Market Leader (RML) – Aerospace, North America is responsible for leading the regional cross-functional business team to ensure collective achievement and execution of the Aerospace segment’s regional financial objectives and innovation-led growth programs. In this capacity, the RML is accountable for the Aerospace segment’s regional revenue and gross contribution performance and will be accountable for delivery of the region’s integrated business planning inputs.

In addition to regional Aerospace segment team leadership, the RML is also expected to serve as the Strategic Marketing functional expert. The RML will develop the deep understanding of regional market trends, needs-based customer segmentation, value chain analysis, 4P’s of marketing, and competitive landscape dynamics needed to underscore 5-year strategy and execution plans to continually reinforce Nomex® leadership in existing markets and drive profitable growth in emerging market verticals. This role is also responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for Boeing—the region’s largest end user customer. In this capacity, the RML will be responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive customer contact strategy, as well as collecting and assimilating critical inputs from Boeing related to portfolio requirements, demand forecast, and competitive intelligence.

The RML is expected to personally demonstrate and cultivate within the region’s cross-functional segment team, a strong external focus that proactively develops close working relationships with Nomex® customers and partners.

The RML will serve as a senior member of the global segment operating team and will report directly to the Global Market Leader, Aerospace.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement critical priorities and execution plans that drive regional sales and profitability growth that are aligned with global strategies.
  • Drive regional sales planning and forecasting, while monitoring performance to adjust tactics as necessary.
  • Develop marketing strategies and execution plans for pricing, route to market, aligned with global strategies, offering optimization, brand promotion / licensing, and partnership with key value chain players and end customers according to needs-based segmentation.
  • Serve as Boeing global key account manager / point of contact.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and technology leadership to ensure resources are effectively prioritized and aligned with segment objectives.
  • Evaluate customer needs and preferences to identify market trends and forecast demand. Manage active sales pipeline at end user level to have clarity on how to drive both short- and long-term growth. Drive execution of innovation portfolio, in partnership with Sales, Technology and Marketing, and own resulting regional growth performance.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and market research to identify opportunities for regional expansion.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market trends to ensure Nomex® stays ahead of the curve.
  • Build and maintain productive business relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or relevant field.
  • Relevant experience, including experience in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional leadership in a matrix organization structure and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in the region's market conditions and Aero industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and grow relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to meeting assigned sales goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a diverse team environment.

The Pay range for this role is $143,290.00 - $225,170.00 Annual

Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate.
