Heat Pump Project Manager

Electric Air is a tech-enabled HVAC contractor based in Redwood City, CA. We are passionate about converting homes from furnaces to heat pumps, and providing our customers with an amazing experience. What to expect

We seek a motivated and skilled project manager based in person at our Redwood City, CA headquarters to lead our SF Bay Area operations. The successful candidate will coordinate with customers, technicians, sub-contractors, city permit offices, suppliers, and inspectors and ensure that our heat pump installations are completed efficiently and meet our high quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Installation Projects: Oversee the entire installation process to ensure projects are completed efficiently and customers are satisfied.

  • Represent Electric Air Professionally: Maintain a professional image in all communications and interactions with customers, staff, and external stakeholders.

  • Engage with Incentive and Permitting Authorities: Collaborate with our internal permit team, incentive providers, and other authorities to ensure smooth installation

  • Coordinate Equipment Procurement: Work with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary equipment and manage procurement logistics.

  • Ensure Safety and Quality: Conduct regular audits, maintain accurate records, and coordinate training to comply with safety and quality policies.

  • Handle Feedback and Escalations: Address and resolve concerns from customers, team members, and subcontractors to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Relevant Experience: At least two years of project management experience, preferably in HVAC, construction, telecom services, utilities, solar energy, or related fields.

  • Field Operations Expertise: Proven ability to schedule and oversee multiple projects and manage field operations effectively. Experience with Service Titan is a plus.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Resilient, resourceful, and quick to find creative solutions to challenges.

  • Leadership Abilities: Strong skills in leading, motivating, and developing a team.

  • Organizational Strength: Excellent decision-making and organizational capabilities.

  • Flexibility: Willing to split time between the office and job sites across the San Francisco Bay Area, with occasional travel to other markets. This is not a 9-5!
