As our QA Automation Engineer, you'll be part of an engaged, high-performing and talented global engineering team. Our world-class Product and Engineering teams delivered almost 1,000 new features last year. As one of our Senior Engineers, you’ll play a vital role in the continued acceleration of our product strategy.

This will include

• Develop automation strategy and framework across our web application, Mobile apps, Microservices and API’s.
• Enabling teams by providing frameworks, tools and coaching to implement the test strategy and best practices.
• Create automated test scripts reflecting user interaction incorporated into CI/CD and system uptime reporting.
• Ownership of test coverage and reporting and driving improvements to these metrics.

Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring

• Over 5 years developing test strategies and test automation
• Programming experience with proficiency in at least one of the following languages NodeJS / TypeScript, JavaScript, and React Native
• Experience in automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Detox, Maestro
• Experience is creating Automated API tests and Integration tests
• Testing experience with REST-based design and microservices
• Experience is carrying out exploratory testing
• Extensive testing experience with a Front-end framework (preferably React)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advocate for Software Testing best practices within a CI/CD environment
• Experience building performance metrics and performance test processes
• Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
