Energy Recovery is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate full-time job opening for the position of an entry level Operator, located in San Leandro, CA. You’ll play a vital part in our manufacturing process, performing precision machining operations on a variety of materials using both manual and CNC equipment.

What Will You Do?
  • Maintain working area and machine in good 5’s standard and presentable 
  • Perform the work assigned daily at station from supervisor / leader and report daily output, progress, issues if arise during working hours  
  • Perform daily machine checklist at beginning the shift and report any issues/ problems to supervisor / leader 
  • Set up and operate CNC machining centers as directed as well manual lathe and Milling centers
  • Follow work order instructions and accurately record task times as directed
  • Keep work area and machines cleaned and serviced regularly
  • Perform other duties & projects as assigned


What You Bring to the Table:
  • 1-2 years working experience in manufacturing environment. 
  • Know basic math calculation to do measurement and basic machine operation 
  • Good attitude and respect individual as team player 
  • PC skills, including Microsoft Office is a plus. 
  • Have some knowledge of mechanical assembly and hydraulic systems. 
  • Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing a plus, willing to train. 
  • Be able to communicate effectively English both written and reading  
  • Must be detail oriented and can follow instructions, processes as assigned  
  • Must be a team player and team involve person with team result oriented attitude

$20 - $24 an hour
The below range is the range that we reasonably believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future. The salary range for this role is $20.00 to $24.00.
