THE ROLE

Location: Remote within GA, IL, MA, NJ, NY, NC, PA or TX | Occasional Travel Required

We are seeking a Director of Sales who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences through cutting-edge products and solutions. This strategic leadership role will be key to driving our growth in North America by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing customers. As a hands-on leader, you will manage your own deals while guiding the North American sales team.

Reporting to the Global Sales Director in the UK, this is a remote role that allows you to work from Eastern or Central, North America. However, occasional travel and in-person meetings will be part of your role. Key responsibilities:

  • 1. Leadership & Team Development:
    • Recruit, hire, and retain top sales talent to build a high-performing team.
    • Mentor and coach sales leadership and team members to drive peak performance.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing, constructive feedback.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • 2. Pipeline & Revenue Growth:
    • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring a healthy flow of opportunities.
    • Lead by example in key deals, managing top-tier negotiations.
    • Analyze sales metrics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
    • Provide accurate revenue forecasting and assess deal closure probabilities.
  • 3. Customer & Partner Relationships:
    • Foster long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
    • Participate in high-stakes customer meetings to drive deals and renewals.
  • 4. Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Align with the Business Development and Marketing teams to optimize lead generation.
    • Work closely with Product teams to provide insights that shape product enhancements.
  • 5. Sales Process & Strategy Optimization:
    • Utilize CRM and data analytics to track performance and refine the sales strategy.
    • Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance sales efficiency.
  • 6. Market Intelligence & Strategy:
    • Stay informed on industry trends, market shifts, and the competitive landscape.
    • Gather customer and sales team feedback to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • 7. Reporting & Communication:
    • Report on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and progress towards goals to the global leadership team.

    • Sales Mastery: Skilled in negotiation, deal-making, and closing contracts, with a strong sales methodology.
