Job Summary:
To support marketing objectives by developing and executing content strategies to educate and engage target audiences, build brand awareness, drive lead generation and support wider business goals. Creating, optimising, and distributing unique, high-quality content across various platforms while leveraging SEO best practices and performance analytics to maximise impact. Collaborating with cross functional teams and external stakeholders, content calendar management, and staying updated with industry trends to ensure effective and innovative content delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Contribute to developing a comprehensive marketing plan
· Research, develop and implement content strategies aligned with business goals, consumer behaviour, and target audience needs
· Write, edit, curate and produce various short form and long form content types whilst maintaining brand voice and quality standards
· Perform keyword research and optimise content for search engines, ensuring SEO best practices are applied
· Publish and promote content across B2B platforms to reach and engage with target audiences
· Own, monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance and effectiveness / ROMI of specific campaigns against KPIs
· Conduct frequent competitor analyses and scan the wider marketing landscape
· Build and maintain good relationships with creative teams, agencies, press contacts, media contacts and suppliers
· Manage the content marketing plan, calendar and asset storage
· Use and maintain the established work management system to organise projects, tasks and meetings
· Utilise the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to extract insights
· Regularly collaborate with teams throughout the business to identify customer needs and pain points
· Represent the marketing team at promotional events where required
· Any other duties and support as may be reasonably requested by the Marketing Manager.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or other related field / equivalent qualification
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in content / creative / social strategy roles
· An innovative outlook and proactive, adaptable approach
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in using content management systems, SEO tools, email and social media platforms
· Sound analytical skills to make data-driven decisions
· Basic graphic design, video production and video editing skills
· Ability to handle short deadlines
· Flexibility to travel.
