Position Description:


Wade Trim's team of 20 marketing professionals support business development for four client market segments - Water; Community Design; Industrial, Commercial, and Energy; and Transportation. Rapid growth is creating a need to expand our staff and this position offers opportunities for advancement. We strive to create proposals and presentations that are client-centric, rather than firm-focused, and are easy to read and visually appealing. We believe customized business development efforts fuel personal growth in staff and propel the firm's growth.


We are looking for a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our Marketing Team and lead the development of proposals. The ideal candidate will have strong messaging and content development skills, the ability to lead teams, and at least 10 years of marketing and/or proposal development experience in the A/E/C industry. Excellent organizational, facilitation, communication, writing, and editing skills are critical. 


Typical responsibilities include:
  • Lead teams in the development of persuasive proposals and presentations that differentiate Wade Trim from its competitors.
  • Manage proposal content and publish proposals using InDesign. Work with Graphic Designer as needed to support proposal development.
  • Use and help maintain Unanet marketing database to track pursuit activities and store qualifications used in proposals.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support members of the marketing team.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, or Communications


Skills/Experience:
  • 10+ years of related experience required
  • Experience in A/E/C or another industry leading proposal development efforts
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign
  • Experience using a CRM database
