About the Role:

The Global Product Line Manager will provide product and market intelligence to all Eriez subsidiaries to increase market share and profitability. This person will define all product specifications and establish pricing and promotional strategies in collaboration with the wider Eriez departments. The Global Product Line Manager is responsible for managing and aligning Eriez’ products and services to meet the needs, trends and preferences of the product segment and its customers.  

The successful candidate will work to enhance overall worldwide performance within their product line including measuring sales performance, identifying gaps between actual and expected performance and development and implementation of strategies that close the identified performance gaps. This role is integral to Eriez’ corporate profitable growth strategy. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage activities of the product line from definition and planning through to production, release and end of life 
  • Create and maintain product specifications, while managing the standardization and commercialization of the product line 
  • Leverage your extensive global network of customers to promote the product line and to gather competitor analysis 
  • Act as the central resource for internal stakeholders as the products move through the design, production and distribution process 
  • Assist subsidiary stakeholders to develop business plans to identify, interpret and define local market requirements 
  • Assist with the development of the sales forecast for the product, from establishing pricing strategies through to monitoring marginal income and support the sales team to maintain these targets 
  • Work with internal stakeholders (R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing etc.) to develop new products and enhance existing products using State-Gate system 
  • Identify acquisition opportunities in the product space which offer competitive or complementary products 

  • Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration (Essential) 
  • Demonstratable Sales and/or Marketing experience (10+ years) in a related industry (Essential) 
  • Masters degree (Desirable) 
  • Ability to prepare and present information in a professional and digestible manner 
  • Experience working in a global team structure within a matrix organization 
  • Ability to read and understand product design drawings and detailed product specifications 
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally
