Perform various FP&A functions, including analysis, reporting, and communication of financial results.Participate in developing and monitoring financial budgets and projections. Assist in maintaining and implementing technology solutions in support of Sales and Revenue Forecasting and FP&A business processes.Essential Functions:Perform various FP&A functions, including analysis, reporting, and communication of monthly financial results.Assist in the development and monitoring of financial projections including revenue forecasts and identify areas of concern.Prepare monthly revenue forecast variance analyses, including monitoring, and tracking of actual and weather normalized customer revenue detail and trends.Assist with identifying problems with critical inputs to the forecast, including the company’s multiple load forecasts and frequently-changing rate structures in multiple states.Provide and support various ad-hoc financial analyses.Assist with developing forecasting, analytics and reporting solutions using IBM Planning Analytics, and Econometric tools such as E-Views, Metrix ND.Working with senior members of the team, assist in data interface development, data migration, and system solutions.Coordinates with key internal stakeholders on variance analyses and reporting of such analyses within the overall context of analyzing financial performance.Assist in the research and implementation of changes required due to changes in source systems configuration or business practices.Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:Technical Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge:Knowledge of financial analyses and financial model management conceptsKnowledge of statistical, financial and econometric conceptsUnderstanding of financial statement structure and analysisSkills:· Understanding of financial, statistical and economic concepts· Strong communication both oral and written· Strong detail orientation as well as the ability to be thorough and precise· Work well within a team structure· Strong customer focus· Functional understanding of computerized business systems· Strong technical skills, including MS Office applications).
