Job Title: Development and Operations Engineer Lead
Job Location: 475 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92626

Define infrastructure and build pipeline architectures in collaboration with Product Architects and the DevOps engineering team. As a builder in a software engineering role focused on delivering DevOps capabilities, be responsible for working closely with the software teams to define, build, and deploy solutions that provide scalable and available infrastructure to the customer platform. The infrastructure is a cloud platform based in Amazons AWS and relies heavily on infrastructure as code. The platform consists of 100 accounts that are constantly scaling to support the needs of customers. Architect, design and build platform support for resource provisioning and build pipeline in AWS. Responsible for all areas of Plan (Architect) build (engineer/design) and run (build). This requires a skilled engineer who is capable of thoughtful solutions all the way to day-to-day support. Architect, design and deploy cloud platform capabilities using AWS (full stack – network, load balancing, DNS, security, databases, compute, and a range of managed services). The skill set of an engineer who is able to design scalable, available and cost-effective solutions is required in this role. As a cloud-based platform resource consumption needs to be dynamic to meet the Realtime business needs. Infrastructure as code is a software engineering-based role that allows for agile development and continuous integration continuous deployment (CI/CD) needs. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify Platform needs and issues; Define infrastructure and build pipeline architectures in collaboration with Product Architects and the DevOps engineering team; Author Agile stories, estimate story points, assist with sprint planning and retrospectives; Architect, design and build platform support for resource provisioning and build pipeline in AWS; Architect, design and deploy cloud platform capabilities using AWS (full stack – network, load balancing, DNS, security, databases, compute, and a range of managed services); Architect and create monitoring and alerting capabilities; Architect and implement infrastructure capabilities in an automated cloud world – such as backups, security tools, IAM, monitoring, etc.; Perform advanced technical troubleshooting for cloud and e-commerce environments; Manage disaster recovery (multi-region), backup/BCP, and multi-cloud strategies for the platform. May telecommute.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 1 years of experience in the job offered or in a Development and Operations Engineer Lead-related occupation.


Position requires experience in the following:
1. Experience in Python or other programming or scripting languages
2. Production experience with public cloud (AWS, Google or Azure –AWS)
3. Experience with a variety of open-source technologies and tools in support of cross-team collaboration
4. Experience and knowledge of AWS architecture in both application security and infrastructure security
5. Experience in several core areas including software development, network engineering, authentication or security protocols, systems engineering, cryptography
6. Experience leading the remediation of Application security vulnerabilities and multiple Application security initiatives, building automation to ensure preventative controls and remediation.
7. Experience/ knowledge of PCI/HIPPA and other security related standards and requirements

Additional Information
