Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with proven capital investment experience to successfully deliver capital investment projects for our Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage capital projects from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with client aspirations.
  • Develop and manage strategic project plans including timelines, budgets and cost controls, and quality expectations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, including senior leadership, client, cross-functional teams, contractors. Effectively communicating progress, risks, and resolutions.
  • Ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and drive timelines to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee selection, negotiation, and management of third-party vendors, contractors,
  • Leverage your network to identify potential business/project opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of FPC Life Sciences

Qualifications

 

  • Extensive (10+ years) of experience managing Capital Investment Projects within the Life Sciences and/or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Exceptional client management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Sounds knowledge of project management methodologies and project management software
  • Strong technical understanding of GMP facilities
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred

Additional Information

Location: This position is based in the UK and will require travel to client sites across the UK and other locations globally as required. Your role will include a blend of working on client sites, from home and FPC Offices.
