Key ResponsibilitiesJOB DESCRIPTION• Strategic Project Leadership: Oversee the identification, scoping, planning, and execution of key strategic projects across global operations and supply chain functions. Lead initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing service levels, and scaling the business globally.• PMO Governance & Framework: Establish and maintain project management methodologies, best practices, and governance structures for managing projects across the organization. Ensure consistent processes are followed, including project tracking, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, business unit leaders, and functional teams (e.g., procurement, logistics, Technology, product, and customer service) to define project objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Align project priorities with business strategy to ensure successful outcomes.• Project Portfolio Management: Manage and prioritize a portfolio of strategic projects across global supply chain operations. Oversee resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and the efficient use of resources.• Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Lead process optimization initiatives, integrating best practices, lean methodologies, and cutting-edge technologies to improve supply chain operations. Champion innovation and drive digital transformation projects within the supply chain.• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, including supply chain disruptions, resource constraints, and changing market conditions. Develop mitigation plans and adapt project strategies to minimize impact on timelines and business objectives.• Budget & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that strategic projects are completed on time and within budget. Conduct financial analysis and ROI assessments for major supply chain initiatives, ensuring financial benefits align with strategic objectives.• Performance Measurement & Reporting: Track and report on the progress of strategic projects, using data and analytics to measure success against established KPIs. Provide regular updates to senior leadership, including status reports, resource utilization, and any challenges or risks.• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, analysts, and cross-functional resources. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the PMO team.• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, functional leaders, suppliers, and third-party service providers, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.• Global Operations Focus: Manage projects with a global scope, addressing the complexities and challenges of international supply chains, regional regulations, cultural differences, and diverse market needs.Key Skills & Qualifications• Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale, cross-functional strategic projects within global supply chain or operations. Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.• Project Management Expertise: Strong experience in managing a project portfolio and leading project teams using standard project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, or similar). Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar).• Global Supply Chain Knowledge: Deep understanding of global supply chain operations, including logistics, procurement, inventory management, demand planning, and distribution. Familiarity with emerging trends such as automation, AI, and digital supply chain technologies is a plus.• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders. Ability to drive collaboration and deliver results in a fast-paced, global environment.• Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, align projects with business goals, and drive transformation within the organization.
