The Role
The Applications Analyst will ensure that Fastmarkets’ business applications are maintained and up to date so that they are secure, scalable and resilient. The Applications Analyst will play a pivotal role in analysing business requests to design and implement valuable enhancements to Fastmarkets’ business applications estate. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver enhancements and the support and maintenance of them. Your expertise will directly support the day to day running of the business and the business-wide transformation efforts.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide hands on system administration support of internal SaaS systems: Including JIRA, DocuSign, JIRA, Adobe Creative Suite, Lucid Chart, Survey Monkey.
Provide excellent customer service, by way of 1st and 2nd line support to Fastmarkets employees.
Ensure Fastmarkets maximizes value from Business Applications estate by partnering with business leads to understand their needs and identify enhancements.
Ensure that responses to day-to-day reactive maintenance issues are done so with customer-focused, helpful approach in alignment with the IT Service Manager.
Diligently maintain asset management details in ITSM tools and documentation.
Adhere to good practice software development lifecycle management processes.
Support the Enterprise Architect on ensuring applications and features support the business needs and ambitions.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Key Experience / Qualifications
Proven experience as an Applications Analyst in a Global, fast-growing organisation.
Strong understanding of JIRA software application – configuration and administration.
Ability to provide system administration to various SaaS business applications. Such as: DocuSign, JIRA, Adobe Creative Suite, Lucid Chart, Survey Monkey.
Good knowledge of IT Service Frameworks e.g. ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM) Tooling e.g. ServiceNow or JIRA Service Cloud.
Demonstrated success in providing consistent applications support, alongside enhancements and project work.
Good understanding of the commercial considerations when working with suppliers and within project constraints.
Be able to balance task orientation with people orientation i.e., focus on delivery of the tasks in hand, but not to the exclusion of all else, be able to influence both staff and team members
Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and suppliers.
Solid problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
