GENERAL FUNCTION:

The EWS Senior Specialist collaborates with EWS program and project leaders to support flawless execution of strategy. This role works closely with all areas of Enterprise Workplace Services and Fifth Third partner groups. Assists with change management and communication plans in support of EWS goals and initiatives, including development of playbooks, tools and templates. 

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributes to cross functional teams in the development and execution of EWS strategies (eg OurWorkplace, Environmental Sustainability, etc).
  • Supports oversight of EWS processes (e.g. utility bill payments, invoice processing) and identifies opportunities for process improvement/problem resolution. 
  • Act as a liaison to outside vendors, general contractors, and other business partners including development of a detailed programming format that can be communicated and is intuitive for vendors to execute. 
  • Provides input into the creation of detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates, and other aspects of EWS projects and initiatives. 
  • Develops new financial and/or EWS reports using various applications in response to ad hoc departmental or external (Fed, OSP, other business lines, etc.) requests. 
  • Recommend, educate, and enforce space policies/standards, procedures, protocols, and design standards. 
  • Guide internal workplace planning teams through project phases of implementation to ensure completion of multiple critical projects simultaneously on schedule and within budget. 
  • Benchmark, track, and assess energy and water use across the entire portfolio using appropriate tools. 
  • Monitors EWS business processes to ensure data integrity, identifies areas of risk, and delivers solutions.
  • Stays current with industry best practices and trends to suggest enhancements to future processes, programs, reporting, etc.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with other team members and partners.  Provides superior service with utmost professionalism

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, and/or computer Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience in business, finance, operations, and/or corporate real estate
  • Construction, facilities management, and/or corporate real estate knowledge and experience highly desired.
  • Minimum 3 years coordinating cross functional professional service teams.
  • Well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Capability to gather information and formulate complex multi-move plans.
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into succinct, user friendly information.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
