First Division Consulting is hiring a System Engineer III to fill a role located in Stafford, VA.
The System Engineer III (SE III) will support the Marine Corps acquisitions by performing system engineering planning, coordination, and execution of the cost, schedule, and performance aspects of programs.
Primary duties will include:
Participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), milestone decision reviews, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and other recurring (i.e., daily, weekly, monthly) meetings, and provide follow-up information to leadership in the form of meeting minutes, executive summaries, position papers, white papers, and/or briefings.

Located in Stafford, VA, this hybrid position is perfect for an enthusiastic individual who’s ready to dive deep into the exciting world of Marine Corps acquisitions. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in the lifecycle of various programs, from requirements development all the way through operations and support. You’ll work closely with Project Officers and Lead Systems Engineers, helping to implement important DoD acquisition policies while ensuring all aspects of system engineering and testing are handled with precision. Your responsibilities will include drafting and revising essential acquisition documentation and maintaining oversight of program status, ensuring everything runs on schedule and within budget. You’ll need strong communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders and to facilitate meetings effectively. Strong analytical abilities will aid you in assessing technical data, identifying risks, and proposing corrective actions. If you have an Active Secret Clearance and a background in engineering or science, plus several years of Government program support experience, we’d love to hear from you.
