Role

To be the right person for this role, you will have significant experience within the telecommunications industry and unified communications and have developed competence in a range of Unified Communications technologies. Specifically, you will have exposure to Mitel and be looking for your next big step. This role will give you the time and opportunities to grow your career.

In this role you will:

  • Be involved in the scoping and delivery of UC solutions for SME and mid-sized customers
  • Provide onsite and remote support for voice infrastructure and associated technologies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of Unified Communications problems
  • Work with engineering teams on escalations of complex ongoing issues
  • Contribute to on-prem and cloud deployments
  • Resolve issues within IVR call flow scripting
  • Write and update technical documentation/Knowledge Base articles

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Solid technical understanding of the telecommunications space, particularly Unified Comms
  • Significant exposure to leading UC vendors, ideally Mitel, although Avaya, Cisco etc would be considered
  • Exposure to the some of the following technologies:
    • VMWare vCenter/ESXi
    • MiVoice Business
    • MiCollab and MiVoice Border Gateway
    • MiContact Centre Business
    • Networking (DHCP, Vlans, HP Switches, Meraki)
    • SIP Trunking/Devices
    • Fax over IP (FoIP)
  • Have some exposure to cloud-based UCaaC solutions like Teams and Zoom
  • Familiarity with SBC, ideally in Ribbon or Audio Codes would be viewed very favorably
  • Be a self-motivated, autonomous team player - At First Focus we win together
  • Be someone who demonstrates dedication coupled with a results-focused mindset
  • To be a great communicator possessing outstanding spoken and written English skills
