Job Title:                    Phone Operator

Department:               Family Practice

Job Summary:          We are seeking a full -time Phone Operator for our Family Practice office in Wesley Chapel. Candidate must have 1 year experience working in a medical field. 
BILINGUAL in Spanish is REQUIRED.  Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical office desired.

  • Schedule follow-up appointments
  • Perform incidental duties as needed

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods
  • Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Experience in a medical setting is preferred

Occupational Exposure:

  • Low risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent REQUIRED
  • BILINGUAL REQUIRED
