ABOUT THE POSITION

The Director of HR Systems and Data Analytics is both a “hands on” tactical and strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of HR systems delivery across the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing Fluence’s HR technology landscape, providing recommendations for a future systems design and integration across other HR systems, and lead or co-lead implementation of system related projects. You will be responsible for ensuring an optimal use of existing technologies and how new applications can be embedded to increase the employee experience and streamline HR delivery.

This role involves leading large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring the alignment of HR technology with business goals, and driving continuous improvement in HR processes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, technological expertise, and a deep understanding of HR practices. 

This role will be responsible for leading the implementation and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems (Workday HCM, ADP, etc) that supports the organization's HR, payroll, and related processes as well as HR Reporting and Analytics. This role will also be responsible for guiding the HR Centers of Excellence (COE) on how Workday HCM fits with other technology required by COEs during the selection of vendors supporting COE programs that use technology to deliver those employee programs. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing data driven people decisions using data analytics. The role involves strategic planning, project management, systems analysis, configuration support and stakeholder communication to enhance HR operational efficiency, data integrity and the reporting and analytics that drive meaningful insights.

Responsibilities
HR Technology Management

  • Lead Workday HCM system upgrades, implementations, integrations, day-day to maintenance (data imports, etc.) and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations and provide guidance to HR regarding upgrades of other HR ancillary technology.
  • Partner with the HR and information technology teams to understand and drive the strategy, roadmap and implementation of enterprise process, data and technology changes and implementations.
  • Stay connected to industry trends and emerging HR technology offerings as well as best practices.
  • Drive system improvements and efficiency by leveraging innovative technology solutions.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of Workday HCM and provide guidance to HR regarding other HR technology systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for processes, standards, and best practices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR technology and analytics inquiries and initiatives.
  • Works with internal corporate communications regarding HR technology related messaging to managers and employees across the organization.
  • Provide training and support to HR and business users on HR technology and analytics tools.


People Analytics, Data Governance and Compliance

  • Design and implement advanced people analytics frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people analytics and HR technology strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders based on data analysis and trends.
  • Oversee the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key HR metrics and KPIs.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and practices.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and standards.


What you will bring to Fluence for this position:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR technology and analytics, with a focus on Workday HCM, experience with other SAAS HCM (Dayforce, UltiPro, Oracle Fusion) highly desirable
  • Hands on knowledge supporting Workday configuration including (but not limited to) – BPs, notifications, integrations, condition rules, custom reports, EIBs, Security, etc.
  • Strong understanding of HR Systems, Org Structures, Configurations, Eligibility Rules, etc.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale HR technology projects and teams.
  • Significant experience in HRIS management within a SAAS environment, preferably with Workday HR.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including payroll, benefits administration, talent acquisition and performance management.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale HRIS implementations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Hands-on leadership style, able to set a vision and direction for the HRIS function, while ensuring team is performing quality work and delivering a customer-centric service to all stakeholders.
