Oncor (together with its subsidiaries) operates the largest transmission and distribution system in Texas, delivering power to nearly 4 million homes and businesses and operating more than 143,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines in Texas.Position SummaryAs a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Oncor, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing and hiring top talent for the organization. This position will play a critical role in developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to meet our hiring needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide talent piplelines for hard-to-fill, high-volume and critical roles to ensure Oncor Electric has the talent to meet the needs of the future. They will work closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and consistent hiring process.This position is a hybrid role based in our Woodall Rodgers – Downtown Dallas, TX location.Key Responsibilities• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent requirements and develop recruiting strategies accordingly.• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through various channels, including job postings, social media, and professional networks.• Understand the ongoing hiring needs of the business and establish the right sourcing mix to generate a strong pool of talent for open roles.• Conduct proactive candidate searches and build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.• Screen and evaluate candidate profile and resume to assess their qualifications and fit for specific roles.• Conduct initial candidate screenings and assessments to determine suitability for specific positions.• Draft & publish attractive job advertisements and manage responses.• Reaching out to target talent via social networks.• Leverage job boards, networks and hiring platforms to source talent.• Designing & conducting engaging talent outreach campaigns.• Speak with applicants about requirements to drive applications & engagement.• Manage applicant tracking systems and maintaining accurate candidate data.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sourcing needs and provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities and outcomes to stakeholders.• Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent sourcing and recruitment.• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.• Perform other duties as assigned.Skills• Expert familiarity with applicant tracking systems and candidate management tools.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meeting hiring targets.• Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.• Occasional travel between Company facilities and job fairs.Education & Experience• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.• 4+ years of Talent Acquisition experience required.• 3+ years of experience in candidate sourcing techniques required.Travel• up to 25%BenefitsAt Oncor, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, compensation and performance management programs designed specifically to attract, retain, motivate and reward our high-performing workforce.
