About The Role
The Vice President of Market Access will be responsible for developing and executing the Foresight’s market access strategy to ensure broad reimbursement, coverage, and adoption of Foresight’s ctDNA minimal residual disease (MRD) diagnostic solutions. This executive leader will work closely with payers, government agencies, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and other key stakeholders to drive reimbursement success, shape health policy, and establish strong payer relationships. This position reports to the Chief Business Officer.
What You Will Do
Market Access & Reimbursement Strategy
Continue to develop and lead Foresight’s market access strategy to ensure optimal reimbursement and coverage for Foresight CLARITY™ as a laboratory developed test, as an FDA cleared device, and as an FDA approved companion diagnostic.
Drive payer engagement strategies to secure favorable reimbursement policies from commercial and government payers.
Lead the development of value propositions and health economic models to demonstrate clinical and economic benefits of the company’s diagnostics solutions.
Oversee pricing, coding, and billing strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration.
Payer & Stakeholder Engagement
Establish and maintain relationships with private insurers, Medicare, Medicaid, PBMs, ACOs, and IDNs to advocate for diagnostic reimbursement.
Collaborate with industry organizations, policymakers, and advocacy groups to influence diagnostic reimbursement policies.
Represent the company in payer negotiations, advisory boards, and industry conferences.
Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)
Develop real-world evidence strategies to support payer coverage and demonstrate clinical utility.
Guide the generation and publication of health economic and clinical outcome studies.
Oversee development of dossiers, white papers, and payer-focused communication materials.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
Partner with regulatory, clinical, commercial, and R&D teams to integrate market access considerations into product development and go-to-market strategies.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop payer-facing messaging and materials.
Collaborate with Foresight’s billing team to ensure maximum reimbursement is achieved.
Build and lead a team of market access professionals, including reimbursement specialists and HEOR experts.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD, PharmD) preferred.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in market access, reimbursement, payer relations, or health economics in the diagnostics, medical device, or biotechnology industry.
Strong relationships with key payer organizations and a deep understanding of U.S. and global reimbursement landscapes.
Expertise in coding, coverage, and payment strategies for diagnostic products, including experience with CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers.
Proven track record in developing and executing market access strategies that drive commercial success.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
Success achieving Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory Test designation with favorable pricing.
Familiarity with the Proprietary Laboratory Analyses code process.
Familiarity with Parallel Review and/or establishment of a National Coverage Determination.
Compensation and Benefits
This role is hiring at an annual salary of $265,000 - $305,000 and is eligible for equity offerings. Foresight offers benefits including paid vacation, sick time, and parental leave (if applicable), alongside medical, dental, vision, life, disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, and a 401k with company match.
