As a Brooder Crew Supervisor at Foster Farms in Fresno, CA, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, promoting quality and safety while leading a dedicated team. With a rich history dating back to 1939, Foster Farms values its team members and fosters a family-like atmosphere. In this position, you will supervise and guide all aspects of the Brooder Crew, ensuring that performance meets our highest standards. A primary responsibility will be anticipating the labor needs and orchestrating the training of Brooder Persons to evolve into Assistant Ranch Foreperson Trainees. You will collaborate closely with fellow supervisors to resolve labor issues and ensure resource distribution is efficient. Attention to detail will be critical as you'll also oversee equipment maintenance, purchase and justify new tools as needed, and manage service programs. The role includes conducting monthly evaluations for crew employees and implementing safety protocols. To excel, you should possess a strong background in animal science, particularly chicken growing, along with effective communication skills in English and Spanish, if possible. Strong leadership capabilities are essential, as is the ability to work independently and maintain impeccable time management.
