Job Description

Pay Range $21.30 to $25.10 per hour

Location/ Schedule/Availability (subject to change as needed):

  • Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in Livingston
  • Wednesday in Turlock
  • Hours 10hrs per day, dayshift (7:45am - 6:15pm)

Purpose of Position

Sell and distribute Company products and promotional items to Team Members and Foster Farms’ divisions through Company stores at Turlock and Livingston.

Essential Job Functions

  • Operate cash register to sell perishable and promotional products to Team Members.
  • Physically pull and fulfill orders from inventory.
  • Reconcile orders to sales to cash and credit receipts, verify actual weights to receipts and invoices.
  • Account for every unit/lb. transacted, prepared weekly and period-end reports using Excel.
  • Account daily for all cash and credit card payments received and petty cash. Run daily batch on credit card payments, send information to Finance for deposits.
  • Lead physical inventory bi-annually of promotional merchandise. Reconcile and explain discrepancies. Track inventory using an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Place and recommend re-orders for promotional items.
  • Prepare any promotional orders for shipment to other Foster Farms locations.
  • Track promotional sales history using Excel to understand sales trends.
  • Send weekly reports to Manager capturing weekly inventory levels.
  • Work with Procurement to run RFP for category – as requested.
  • Process and fill employee orders through email, phone and walk in of products to ensure availability at customer pick up.
  • Take daily physical inventory of perishable products, place replenishment orders through SAP.
  • Process outside sales/donation orders and collect any payment due.
  • Update and distribute Team Member price list via email, working with HR to ensure Price List is advertised on internal communication systems.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe manner, as required, and maintain good housekeeping of the back room and kitchen area.
  • Assure all products/materials are properly stored, ensuring proper food safety.
  • Ensure the trailer is secured and locked when not in use. Report and coordinate equipment service and repair.
  • Have the capability to cross-train in office services and the mail route as required.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and provide a DMV printout, along with successfully completing a defensive driving course with vehicle safety

Qualifications

 

  • High school graduate or equivalent and retail store experience required
  • Must have cash register, 10-key, computer, Microsoft Excel
  • Must have experience in customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication
  • Good mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to lift at least 75 pounds
  • Must have consistent and reliable attendance and transportation
  • Multi-lingual preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
