The Opportunity:
Capa Server (On-Call)
Who We Look For:
We are looking for an individual who can provide dining support in Capa, our Spanish-influenced cuisine, rooftop steakhouse and bar with 1 – 2 years of Food & Beverage experience.
Responsibilities:
Serve the guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods
Ensure each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile
Display impressive salesmanship in guiding guests through the menu and maximizing revenue with upsell opportunities
Expected to read each table and adapt to the guest, creating a customized experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Background in fine dining and knowledge of steaks (cuts, temperatures, etc.) is preferred, though not required.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with a large team
A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
