Reporting directly to one of our Senior Compliance Officers, the key purpose of the role is provide a broad range of technical expertise, be a point of contact for regulatory advice for the business and have effective oversight on key compliance processes.

What you'll be doing...

Reporting directly to one of our Senior Compliance Officers, the key purpose of the role is provide a broad range of technical expertise, be a point of contact for regulatory advice for the business and have effective oversight on key compliance processes.

  • Act as a business partner to key areas of the firm, providing regulatory oversight, advice, guidance and training across a variety of teams.
  • Support the development, implementation and ongoing adherence to key compliance policies within the business.
  • Provide regulatory advice and guidance to the business on a range of topics, including Consumer Duty, Financial Promotions, Complaints and Product.

Producing monthly MI for the Senior Compliance Manager to review on an on-going basis.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

  • Experience in a compliance role within the financial services sector with a working knowledge of first- and second-line functions.
  • Understanding of FCA regulations: COBS, ICOBS, SMCR, Financial Promotions, Consumer Duty, DISP, SYSC and PROD.
  • Regulatory Horizon Scanning experience desirable.
  • Ability to conduct research and present information effectively.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or independently under the direction of a senior team member.
  • Ability to compile, enhance and present Management Information in relation to Compliance and Risk.
