The ideal candidate must be passionate about landscaping be creative and enthusiastic about improving the value of our customers’ homes. He or she should be reliable, accountable and demonstrate dependability, presenting a professional demeanor and appearance while communicating effectively with clients. The individual must be able to take ownership of projects, while providing guidance to field personnel for efficient installation of projects. The candidate also must be able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.

Requirements

Job requirements include:· Meet clients for initial introductions and discuss their wants / needs· Perform initial site analysis· Take field measurements, elevations and convert to workable base plan· Be available for weekly team meetings for design discussion & critique· Prepare conceptual design plan & 3D model· Present project to client and take feedback to finalize design· Create construction plan using AutoCAD for estimators

Qualified candidates must show:

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
• Must be citizen of USA or have a social security card with valid work visa and/or alien residence
• Enjoy working in the spirit of constant improvement
• Interest in landscape systems including - constructability, grading, sections, etc.

Qualifications

· Bachelors in Landscape Architecture (preferred)

· AutoCAD (Minimum 3yrs required in professional setting)

· Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)

· Microsoft Office (Minimum 3yrs required)

· Excellent digital and hand graphic skills

· Strong problem solving, critical thinking skills, analysis

· Attention to detail and organization

· Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

· Effective time management skills

· Ability to take initiative; self-motivation; ability to take direction; positive attitude; sense of accountability

· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· Understand concept design as well as practical application

· Ability to work independently & in collaborative team setting

· 3D modeling experience required

· High end residential experience (preferred)

· Knowledge of Southern California plant palette (a plus)

· Experience in all project phases including conceptual design, construction documentation, and contract administration
