ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Web Portal Administrator to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory! This position is part-time (expected 20-30 hours per week) and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico with hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the Admin Portal for our Service Now AskSecurity website.

• Be the main contact for everything related to the AskSecurity website which can include:

  • fielding questions,

  • enabling SMEs,

  • facilitating online/in-person training, and

  • ensuring project completion.

• Responsible for fielding and hosting focus groups for agent training in Service Now.

• Utilize AccessIT for agent Approvals in Oracle (requires A Level access).

• Exercise prior knowledge and experience in implementing a new software and assisting developers in the going live process.

• Assist with demos and be the main point of contact if anything is not properly functioning.

• Manage the ADMIN portal in Service Now which can change on a day to day basis, depending on customers’ needs and requests.

Requirements

• Education & Years of Experience – High School Diploma and 1+ years of relevant experience

• Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work

• Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed

• Experience collaborating with multiple teams.

• Positive attitude and demonstrate patience during lengthy projects.

• Experience using Microsoft Teams, Outlook Calendars, and SharePoint-like portal(s).

The NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons. This lab possesses unique capabilities in neutron scattering, enhanced surveillance, radiography, and plutonium science and engineering (energy.gov).
