Job Summary:The role of the warehouse assistant involves receiving, storing, and managing materials within the facility. You will be responsible for organizing inventory, preparing orders, and loading shipments while operating material handling equipment such as forklifts. Implementing quality control measures, following safety protocols, and maintaining precise records of all materials movements are also important. You play a critical role in facilitating effective warehouse operations and supporting the overall productivity of the organization.Responsibilities:• Before driving a forklift, the operator should perform a thorough pre-inspection of the vehicle to detect any possible defects or malfunctions and report them as soon as possible• The hopper is another important part of the railcar, responsible for holding the cargo while in transit• Acquiring and fine-tuning the necessary skills and knowledge required to efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose elevator malfunctions• Effective cleaning methods involve using a range of tools, such as brooms, dustpans, and vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and debris from floors, walls, and ceilings• A clean unloading area, railcar area, and equipment will promote an organized and efficient working space that will benefit the entire operation• We are looking to hire professionals with experience in carrying out basic maintenance duties such as lubrication and belt replacements.
