Genesis10 is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for a contract with our client. 100% Remote.Job Description:We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our Integration Team for a Majesco implementation project. This critical initiative involves replacing the previous vendor system (DCM) with Majesco, focusing on multi-system integration for insurance companies, compensation systems, and policyholders. The project began in January 2024 and is expected to conclude in June 2025, with potential extensions for additional phases such as a self-service portal.The Integration Team consists of two focus areas:• Front-End Testing and Functional Testing• Data Migration and Integration: Data flow validation, SQL queries, metadata verification, and small data set validation.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct manual testing and ensure quality across front-end functionality, data migration, and integration workflows.• Validate data flow, metadata, and outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.• Collaborate with distributed teams, including offshore counterparts, for seamless integration and testing.• Utilize strong automation skills to enhance the testing process where applicable.• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address testing needs and resolve issues.Required Skills and Experience:• 10-15 years of quality engineering and testing experience.• Proven expertise in manual testing with a willingness to conduct hands-on manual testing.• Strong background in life insurance or financial services projects, including an understanding of financial systems and processes.• Experience with data migration projects, including data validation and integration testing.• Proficiency in test automation tools and techniques.• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment, with experience collaborating with global teams (e.g., Majesco team in India).Preferred Qualifications:• Prior experience with Majesco or similar third-party insurance tools.• Familiarity with SQL queries and data analysis.• Located in Central or Eastern Time Zones for optimal collaboration.Why Join Us?This role offers an opportunity to work on a transformative project in the insurance and financial services sector with a highly collaborative team.
