You just found it.Job OverviewThe Financial Controller is responsible for securing accurate, compliant, and transparent accounting and reporting for the assigned business. The incumbent will focus strongly on financial statement accuracy, which requires an in-depth knowledge in financial accounting. The Financial Controller will work closely on compliance, with internal controls procedures, documents, and team, in order to build quality into our everyday accounting processes. The incumbent will build rapport and partner with the business to share understanding of the financial statements and will review the consolidated results with management to secure transparency in our accounting and reporting. This will also translate into business partnering to produce a quarterly forecasts, based on changing business outlook.This position reports to the office 3 - 4 days a week.Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties• In cooperation with local management understand the business from a financial perspective and ensure high quality of reported numbers.• Responsible for Financial reporting for the assigned business within Getinge• Prepare and analyze financial reports by gathering information related to current performance (Net Sales, Order Intake, Open Orders, Cost accounts, Profitability, Inventory accounting)• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and actively participates in monthly balance sheet/Cash flow reviews.• Ensure all activities are compliant with internal control policies and suggest additional controls when needed.• Prepare journal entries and lead month end close as needed to ensure proper accounting at the functional and departmental level.• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in accordance with policy and terms• Lead quarterly reforecast process and build Continuous partnership with business leaders to understand business development related to order intake and net sales• Support strategic and long-range planning initiatives - acting as a business partner to marketing and R&D teams to aid in decision making to drive future growth• Collaborate cross functionally with business partners worldwide to aid in global expansion growth initiatives.• Evaluate processes, recommend and execute improvements as agreed with management• Master data, Chart of accounts management, ERP Optimization• External and internal audit support as required• Additional Ad-hoc Analysis upon requestMinimum Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent• A minimum of 5 years financial management experience is required• Proven experience with accounting[PS1] and accounting systems• Ability to scale from transactional details to high level strategic thinking.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities• Experience with accounting[PS2] and accounting systems• Ability to scale from transactional details to high level strategic thinking.• Understanding of internal controls frameworks• Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of business partnering.• Exemplary communication and organizational skills.• Self-starter with great attention to detail and ability to work in fast paced environment.• Drive efficiency & demonstrate continuous improvement thinking.• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.• Project management• Advanced skills in Microsoft applications – particularly Excel, but also proficient in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.• ERP Experience – Quickbooks is a plusThe base salary for the position is a minimum of $90,000 and a maximum of $100,000 plus 10% annual bonusAbout us With a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
