Job Description

  • Assists the Department Supervisors in maximizing productivity and employee morale ensuring service levels are achieved.
  • Responsible for monitoring staff so that all shift distribution duties are completed.
  • Make Supervisor aware of any employee relation or attendance matters.
  • Ensure the timely, accurate, and damage-free handling of materials and merchandise
  • Monitor work activity within assigned area
  • Verifies and creates paperwork for E-Com operations
  • Resolves problems with orders
  • Assist the Logistics Supervisor in developing operational plans on a daily and weekly basis
  • Responsible for helping to ensure a safe, positive and productive work environment
  • Maintain professional daily interaction with all levels and departments throughout the organization
  • Raise employee concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years distribution experience
  • Ability to function effectively at both strategic and tactical levels
  • WMS systems experience, Red Prairie preferred
  • Proven leadership skills including the ability to coach, train, motivate, and empower associates
  • High ethical standards, demonstrated strong integrity
  • Models and supports organization’s goals and values
  • Demonstrated leadership by example, proven and work ethic
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-orientated with a drive for quality and accuracy
  • Ability to stand and bend down for continuous periods of time, frequently lift up to 30 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 85lbs.
