Job Description

Location: Hybrid, London office presence required

We're looking to invite a Group Agile Delivery Manager to join us for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract to help deliver new products and services through multidisciplinary teams on our most complex initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will be delivering one of our most critical and high impact initiatives across technology and data. You will be a strong role model in agile practices and embed this within the tribe and squads you support.

Building high-performing teams, making strategic decisions and driving productivity , whilst supporting other Agile Delivery Managers, will be a critical part of this role. As will working with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and senior stakeholders, to ensure that teams understand their mission, vision and goals, facilitating alignment across the organisation.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver products and services through multidisciplinary Tribes, on a complex initiative, and providing support across the delivery organisation where needed   
  • Drive the delivery of our most complex strategic initiative across multiple Tribes and Squads, bringing cohesive approaches across them
  • Develop planning and feedback loop best practice across the Agile Delivery department, bringing departmental consistency where necessary
  • Continually improve processes, ways of working, and delivery approaches with your Tribes and Products, as well across the business where needed
  • Set the standard for Agile working environments across Gousto, through best practices and new perspectives, fostering healthy team dynamics and routines
  • Create great Agile working environments in both the Squads / Tribes you support and across the organisation, whilst identifying the best partners to make it reality
  • Work with senior Tribe leadership teams including Product Managers, Engineering Managers and Tribe sponsors, to ensure teams understand their mission, vision, and goals, facilitating alignment across the organisation
  • Partner with and lead key stakeholders on delivery progress and challenges, playing an active role in driving cross departmental improvements
  • Drive methods to establish relationships and effective cross-team collaboration

Who You Are: 

  • Seasoned Group Agile Delivery Manager with a proven track record delivering large scale, complex software projects from validation to launch
  • Experienced supporting and driving Agile / Lean delivery approaches cross functionally and departmentally, whilst ensuring alignment to broader business strategies and goals 
  • Applies in-depth knowledge to enhance product delivery through Agile methodologies, creating an efficient and collaborative working environment
  • Help continually improve processes, ways of working and Agile delivery approaches within teams and cross departmentally
  • Integrates constructive feedback seamlessly into leadership style, fostering a culture of continuous growth, learning and development
  • Sets the departmental example on successfully delivering cross functional digital projects and products, of either complexity or across a specific portfolio(s)
  • Deep understanding of problems before proposing solutions, ensuring balance between technical direction and business value, coaching on this approach   
  • You bring excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills and an ability to translate metrics, research and trends into viable strategies
