Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

The Role

This is a permanent opportunity.

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to work on our Wessex Water Projects, based out of our Midsomer Norton HQ, and working alongside our Regional Manager. Hybrid working model 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.

  • Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects
  • Taking responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control
  • Creation and management of the appropriate Project Documentation
  • Control project expenditure to satisfy the success criteria set out in the PID and contract
  • Close liaison and management of the Client and other internal/external stakeholders as appropriate
  • Work within a monthly project reporting structure.
  • Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment
  • Effectively manage the O&M outputs of the projects and programme deadlines.
  • APM – Willingness to undertake Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)
  • Excellent client engagement skills
  • Relevant projects experience
  • Experience in using planning software
  • Prepared to take responsibility for self and others
  • Ability to analyse project performance and produce project reports
  • Full UK driving license

  • Appropriate trade qualification
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • EUSR water hygiene
