Manufacturing Coordinator

Gowan Milling is looking for a Manufacturing Coordinator at the Yuma facility. This position will report directly to the Logisitics Manager.


Role Responsibilities:
  • Coordination of shipping and receiving activities
  • Tracking of daily production and material usage
  • Coordination with production supervisors
  • Coordination with customer toll representatives or buyer/ planners to arrange for appropriate delivery dates
  • Customer production invoicing
  • Documentation and filling of logistics activities
  • Switchboard operations
  • Typing and word processing
  • Attend customer meetings
  • Annual inventory audits with the customers


Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Microsoft / JD Edwards E1)
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
  • Strong Math skills necessary for completion of assigned tasks (Formulations, Bill of materials, inventory loss and gain)
  • Working knowledge of general front office procedures and office etiquette
  • Knowledge of DOT requirements


Experience / Skills / Abilities:
  • Occasionally required to move around plant site and production buildings.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects 5-30 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, twist, sit, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and crawl.


Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree and related experience preferred
