The Wave Planner is responsible for allocating orders, releasing work to the floor, balancing workflow and ensuring individual waves are correctly prioritized and managed to predetermined wave cycle times. In addition, they also assign and monitor fulfillment work including, staging, shipping, wave times and pick and pack assignments for various functions.

At Lakeshore, we're seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Wave Planner for our 1st shift team, located at 415 W Factory St, Garland, UT. As a Wave Planner, you'll play a crucial role in our distribution efforts, ensuring that orders are efficiently allocated and released to the floor. Your daily responsibilities will include balancing workflow and managing individual waves while prioritizing effectively to meet predetermined cycles. You’ll create batches of orders based on priority and order types, while proactively monitoring their progress through various stages, including picking, quality assurance, and shipping. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be collaborating with supervisors and managers to address any delays and provide updates on order flow. A good grasp of wave planning software and an ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment will ensure your success in this role.
