We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable financial planner to join our growing advisory firm. As a financial planner, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial situations and goals and develop comprehensive financial plans to help them achieve those goals.Responsibilities• Meet with clients to collect information about their financial situations, objectives, risk tolerance, time horizons, etc.• Analyze clients' finances, identify issues and opportunities, and evaluate alternative courses of action• Develop and present comprehensive financial plans that include investment strategies, tax planning, asset allocation, risk management, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, and other components• Implement financial plans by recommending specific investment vehicles, insurance policies, etc.• Monitor clients' accounts and plans, recommending any necessary changes and ensuring continued progress toward goals• Stay current on financial planning regulations, legislation, and tax law changesRequirements• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field• 3+ years experience in financial planning or analysis role• CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation preferred• Series 65 license or ability to attain• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills• High attention to detail with ability to explain complex financial concepts simplyWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package along with opportunities for career advancement.
