REMOTE SENIOR TRANSPORTATION SALES MANAGERTHIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE RIGHT PERSON TO WORK IN A BEAUTIFUL AREA AND BE A PART OF A GREAT CULTURETHE SKY IS THE LIMITAs A SENIOR TRANSPORTATION SALES MANAGER you will be leading our sales team to continued success, as well as providing leadership, development, and training to new recruits that join our growing inside sales team. Being team-centric, yet individually driven will be essential to your success. You're a great salesperson who has seen much success in your career - pass on that knowledge!Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Driving revenue through coaching and developing new and existing sales reps• Interviewing and training entry-level sales reps• Assisting sales reps with account strategies to increase revenue• Achieve satisfactory net revenue results and market share in relation to preset standards and industry trends• Holding the team accountable for daily activity and results• Ensuring employees maintain the highest level of integrity• Coordinating the allocation of support staff to accounts with high volumes of business• Monitoring sales reports, acting as needed, and communicating trends and market conditions to senior leadership• Working with the Training department to help maintain and continuously enhance sales training programsRequirements:• At least 3-5 years prior experience working for a non-asset freight brokerage in a sales capacity preferred• At least 3-5 years of sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 5+• Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others• Willingness to go above and beyond for our customers• Strong negotiation skills – persuasiveness, aggressiveness, confidence• Self-driven with a desire to succeed• Ability to think creatively to find solutionsEducation:• High school diploma or GED required• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plusPLEASE SEND YOUR RESUME TO LINDA.POWELL@gogpac.com
