Position Overview:
We’re looking to find a mission driven individual with deep healthcare experience to be our Senior Vice President (SVP) of Value-Based Care. Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for Guaranteed’s end-to-end VBC initiatives, from conceptualization to implementation, and monitoring initiatives to drive our mission forward by improving outcomes and reducing healthcare cost.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO to further develop and execute Guaranteed’s value-based care strategy

  • Lead contract negotiations for value-based agreements, including shared savings, capitated, or risk-bearing arrangements.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of VBC initiatives and programs, driving operational excellence, developing and refining care delivery models and workflows to achieve contracted metrics

  • Build and manage key relationships with our partners; monitor and manage performance against contractual targets

  • Serve as a SME and advocate for value-based care internally and externally

  • Collaborates with Clinical and Market Operations teams to promote value-based care enablement and platform services 

  • Provide leadership, oversight and management of team and individual team members on team/organizational performance initiatives.

Skills and Toolset You’ll Need to Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in healthcare, with at least 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, venture backed startup, including significant experience in VBC or population health / managed care

  • Proven success in negotiating and managing value-based contracts, including shared savings, risk-sharing, and capitated models.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory landscapes, payer-provider relationships, and clinical care delivery.

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and act on complex healthcare data and impact on outcomes, quality, and cost

  • An ability to travel to our markets on an as-needed basis
