They conduct content audits, prepare content development plans in coordination with corporate marketing, and produce content to include drafting, editing, and publishing with stakeholders. They serve as an advocate for thought leadership as a key promotional element of the company's growth plans. The Content Marketing Manager works closely with sector and corporate marketing to plan and prioritize content production throughout the year to maximize promotional value through owned, earned, and paid channels. They engage and collaborate with assigned subject matter experts to consistently produce insightful and engaging content that highlights key projects, technologies, and talent at Henderson Companies.External Communications & Graphics:• Conducts an annual communications audit for assigned services and solutions and facilitates updates to content strategy as necessary.• Collaborates with sector marketing team to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of current communications channels and platforms and optimize promotional budget.• Collaborates with sector and corporate marketing teams on marketing plans and production schedules.• Works under the Content Marketing Director to document content strategy and manages the production of all content related to their assigned services and solutions.• Manages website content as assigned to keep website up-to-date on an ongoing basis, tracking trends, analyzing user data, and making recommendations for improvement.Internal Communications:• Collaborates with human resources and content strategists to produce internal communications as assigned.• Collaborates with content strategists on content development and publishing plan for internal communications pieces and channels.• Engages with sector and operations leadership to guide and influence employee communications plans and tactics as assigned.Media & Content Training:• Supports Content Marketing Director in training and education of technical staff and senior level executives in preparation for tradeshow presentations, media interviews, and/or press tours.• Serves as an informed advocate within the company on trends and best practices to utilize content production and publishing to earn influence and drive preference among target audiences.Qualifications:• 6 years of professional communications experience required.• Experience in related industries such as engineering, construction, architecture, or professional services preferred.• Marketing agency experience preferred.• Proven ability to manage production and publishing, including multi-channel communication plans.• Proficiency in writing and editing, with the versatility to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and contexts.• Knowledge of marketing plans and strategies, including video production, social media, digital marketing, and analytics.• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.• Working knowledge of digital publishing platforms (e.g., WordPress, Mailchimp, Sprout Social).• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred.• Understanding of the architecture, construction, and engineering (AEC) industries preferred.• Familiarity with target audiences in sectors such as venue/sports, healthcare, retail, corporate, and grocery preferred.• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.• Positive and collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.• Effective communicator, capable of engaging with individuals across all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.• Must demonstrate proficiency in all core competencies as described and characterized in this job description.Let's Talk PerksWe take care of our people.
