About the Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in a key individual contributor role. This position will focus on candidate experience management, sourcing, recruiting program coordination, full-cycle recruitment for junior-level roles, onboarding, and special projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in driving our talent strategy, collaborating across various functions such as Technology, Go-to-Market (GTM), General & Administrative (G&A), and University Recruiting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process for junior to mid-level roles across key areas such as Technology, Go-to-Market (GTM), General & Administrative (G&A), and University Recruiting. This includes sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.

  • Sourcing and Attraction: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier candidates across various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.

  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand team needs, align on candidate profiles, and provide guidance on recruitment best practices. Partner to ensure recruitment goals are met in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Candidate Experience Management: Ensure a positive, engaging, and consistent experience for all candidates, from initial contact to final offer. Maintain transparent communication, provide timely feedback, and ensure a seamless process that reflects Hiya’s values of excellence and innovation.

  • Event, Program, and Recruiting Coordination: Plan and execute recruitment events such as career fairs, university recruiting programs, and virtual or in-person meetups. Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, and internal feedback loops, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring teams.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage recruitment metrics and data to track performance, identify trends, and continuously improve the hiring process. Use data to recommend process improvements and inform future recruiting strategies.

  • Special Projects: Assist with various recruitment-related projects, including employer branding initiatives, process improvements, and other ad-hoc recruitment needs as they arise.

Qualities That Will Make You Successful:

  • A fast learner with a proactive, self-starter mentality and a passion for recruiting.

  • Proven ability to create exceptional experiences for candidates, clients, and/or customers.

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner or Talent Acquisition Coordinator ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment and/or with experience in sales, such as an Account Executive, Sales Development Representative (SDR), or Customer Success Manager (CSM).

  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and recruiting for roles across multiple functions, including Technology, GTM, G&A, and University Recruiting.

  • Strong networking and sourcing skills, with the ability to engage passive candidates and build relationships across various talent pools.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to manage pipelines and track candidate progress.

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

More Details

The base salary for this role is between $53,500-$82,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered: skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.

  • Start Date: Immediately

  • Status: Full-time 

  • Type: Hybrid 2-3x per week

  • Location: Downtown Seattle

  • Travel Requirements: 2-4 weeks of travel per year

  • Department: People Team

  • Reports to: Talent Acquisition Manager
