Here at Elevate Brands, we are building the consumer products platform of the future, today. Our vision is to have an Elevate brand in every human's as we expand across the globe, selling on every major e-commerce marketplace within the next 5 years and our 10-year goal is to have an Elevate Brand in every human's hand, globally! Currently, we're looking for a Director, Human Resources to join our People team. If you're a driven, self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment, come join our team!

As the Director, Human Resources, you will lead talent management, learning and development, employee benefits, and employee growth and retention initiatives. We have team members in 22 countries worldwide and want to focus on making sure that we implement all HR best-practices, and we need your help!

What you'll do as Director, Human Resources:

  • Lead efforts to positively impact the employee experience and life cycle, including new hire onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement & retention, compensation, benefits, and rewards.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the People team and be accountable for team growth and success.
  • Hands-on leader with willingness to develop and maintain HR policies, plan implementation efforts, streamline processes, and provide guidance and interpretation across the organization spanning from North America, EU region, South Africa, Singapore, Philippines, Australia and Mexico.
  • Identify best practices for accountability and appropriate reporting metrics that support company wide goals and objectives and track employee engagement and performance.
  • Owns HR employee communications to keep employees informed and engaged and provides the right communication at the right time to the right audience.
  • Coach, counsel and train managers on all employee matters and HR processes.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment laws and regulations, coordinating with in-house counsel as needed.
  • Communicate and partner with third party providers to ensure proper benefits administration.

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong skills in all HR domains: recruiting, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits
  • Ability to define, build and execute HR strategies
  • Experience managing company wide projects/initiatives
  • Proven success in managing remote employees in a global organization
  • Knowledge and demonstrated application of relevant domestic US and international employment laws, regulations, and trends
  • Strong organization, time management, and negotiation skills
  • Resilient and can handle a proactive, fast-paced start-up growth environment

These help, but aren't dealbreakers:

  • Knowledge of HR best practices in Philippines, Mexico, UK, EU region, and/or South Africa
  • SHRM or PHR Certification
