Humana Finance Organization is seeking a Senior Technology Implementation Professional to provide system implementation and production support for vended solutions in finance with a focus on accounts payable. In this role, you will collaborate with Finance business and IT partners to review requirements, document system issues, and implement systems enhancements and/or fixes to resolve system issues.

The Senior Technology Implementation Professional delivers enhancements and fixes to technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. The Senior Technology Implementation Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Technology Implementation Professional gathers and documents business system and functional requirements, influences system design, often in collaboration with IT, to optimize support and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Completes and/or coordinates implementation of design and requirements, testing, configuration, operational readiness, and provide system support for finance applications. This resource also supports the business with system/integration monitoring and production support with a focus on accounts payables systems/processes. They influence department’s strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. Work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of project/system implementation experience or systems administration and support.

  • Knowledge of business acumen regarding financial/system data flow and general knowledge of basic accounts payable processes/systems.

  • Experience with systems support, systems configuration and execution including documentation development, testing, collaboration with cross functional teams’ effort and effective communication at various levels, including senior leaders.

  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies and system testing.

  • Experience in problem solving, consultation within complex environments and managing multi priorities relating to project/assignments. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.

  • Experience in Oracle EBS or Oracle ERP.

  • Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Procurement system administration.

  • Skilled in detail design and process documentation.

  • Experience in analysis, design, data modeling in Microsoft SQL Server, development of Access databases/applications and general data management.

Additional Information

Work-At-Home Requirements:

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Interview Format:

As part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology called HireVue to enhance our hiring and decision-making ability. HireVue allows us to quickly connect and gain valuable information for you pertaining to your relevant skills and experience at a time that is best for your schedule.

If you are selected for a first-round interview, you will receive an email correspondence inviting you to participate in a HireVue interview.  In this interview, you will receive a set of interview questions over your phone, and you will provide recorded or text message responses to each question. You should anticipate this interview to take about 15-20 minutes. Your recorded interview will be reviewed, and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$80,900 - $110,300 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
