To lead in this new era of technology and solve some of the world's most challenging problems.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesGRA is a global function belonging to an international IBM unit locally operating in strong connection with several function (business development, legal, public sector, Communication).The selected candidate will work in direct collaboration with the GRA Director who will provide the candidate with guidance during the projectsDuring the project, the candidate will be required to support the GRA mainly in the following activities:Parliamentary Monitoring: reading and summary of the most relevant political documents (bills, report, plans);Position Paper: (based on specific guidelines) collection of input, data/documents, drafting and updatingMeetings: preparation of materials (speech notes, briefing memos, presentations,...) to support meetings with institutions.External activities: attendance to selected conference/workshop/one to one meetings and reporting.Required Professional and Technical Expertise• Political Science/International Affairs degree• fluent English• a strong interest in, and enthusiasm for, politics, policy issues and current affairsPreferred Professional and Technical Expertise• excellent research and communication (written and oral) skills• the ability to assimilate, analyse and summarise written material quickly• interpersonal skills• teamworking skills• excellent listening skills, as well as the ability to take an impartial view• IT skills, as many information sources such as Hansard are online.
