Why this role is important: 


Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director, Finance, will be a hands-on role leading two membersand play a critical role in driving Igloo’s financial strategy. This role will oversee SaaS metrics, revenue and expenseforecasting, financial modeling, and analysis to support decision-making and organizational growth. 


As a key strategic finance leader, you will collaborate cross-functionally to guide business performance and contribute to Igloo’s long-term success. The impact you'll have
  • Financal Planning & Budgeting:
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, ensuring timely updates and accuracy. 
  • Collaborate with department leaders regularly to align budgets and forecasts with organizational objectives. 

  • Financial Modeling & Analysis :
  • Develop financial models for revenue, cost, profitability, and cash flow projections. 
  • Conduct scenario analyses and provide insights on cash flow and capital needs. 
  • Support strategic decision-making with actionable financial insights. 

  • Metrics & KPIs :
  • Set, track, and analyze financial and non-financial metrics including key SaaS KPIs (e.g., MRR, ARR, CAC, Retention, LTV). 
  • Conduct detailed analysis of historical performance to identify trends and offer data-driven recommendations. 

  • Revenue Operations :
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience to forecast recurring and non-recurring revenue activity through the entire funnel/pipeline (e.g., from lead generation to booking).  
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders on deal/contract structure, leveraging profitability and strategic analysis for optimized outcomes. 
  • Ensure compliance with SaaS revenue recognition standards and accounting practices. 
  • Prepare executive reports and presentations, distilling complex financial data. 

  • Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership 
  • Partner with all departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations) to support data-driven decision-making. 
  • Advise senior leadership with financial insights to drive strategic initiatives including potential mergers, acquisitions, and related due diligence and post-transaction integration. 

  • Stakeholder & Investor Relations 
  • Develop executive-level reports and presentations, translating complex financial data into clear, concise insights for management, investors, and other key stakeholders. 
  • Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other external partners. 


The keys to success
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 
  • A minimum of 10 years of FP&A experience and a CPA/CFA (or equivalent) designation. 
  • Expertise in FP&A, including financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. 
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, gross margin) and revenue recognition principles in a SaaS environment.  
  • Experience with managing financial statements (balance sheet, cashflow statement, profit and loss), SaaS subscription models, and accounting/taxation relevant to SaaS businesses. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. 
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management, including engaging with investors, auditors, and executives.  
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial data to diverse audiences. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities. 
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and energetic SaaS environment with evolving priorities. 
  • Experience working with finance software tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Adaptive Insights), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), and Excel. 
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and coaching direct reports to support organizational objectives and individual goals.
