Sales Coordinator

Your Mission:

This position is responsible for receiving and processing all customer purchase orders into our internal system and making changers in a timely manner on a daily basis. This person will work closely with the logistics team to assist with scheduling on time deliveries and communicate with customers regarding purchase order changes and delays. Additionally, respond to sales requests for information and sample requests. This position will be responsible for confidential product and pricing information. 

What You'll Do:

  • Initiate and follow-up on communication with vendors, customers, brokers, and internal departments to meet required delivery appointments.
  • Ensure accurate entry of all sales orders on appropriate databases within established timeframes. 
  • Ensure inventory meets appropriate shelf-life and turnover requirements through inventory counts.
  • Provide high level customer service and problem resolution when issues arise.  Follow up on an as-needed basis.
  • Responsible for the fulfillment of information and sample requests from the sales team.
  • Participate in the annual budget process and monthly forecasting
  • Assist with planning for national and customer trade shows.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Marketing or related field.  Equivalent education or experience in Sales or Marketing may be considered.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a Sales environment, including experience with order entry, inventory tracking and customer service.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external sources in written, verbal or presentation formats.
  • Evidence of ability to build and maintain cooperative working relationships.  
  • Very proficient in Excel
  • Computer proficiency including using computers and computer systems set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Demonstrated ability organize, plan and prioritize work autonomously and with minimal direction and supervision.

  • This position is located in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • Willing to travel if needed
